Let’s make Hasselback potatoes! In this episode learn how to make this old-fashioned potato dish that is sure to impress your guests. As a delicious hybrid between mashed potatoes and potato chips, these Hasselback potatoes are soft of the inside with perfectly crisp edges and drizzled with an herbed butter sauce.

  • Potatoes
  • Butter
  • Salt & pepper


  1. Preheat oven 400 degrees. Clean your potatoes.
  2. Slice the potatoes. Watch the video closely to get the full direction and guidance for this method!!
  3. Melt the butter in your saucepan. Note: you can season the butter to be flavored however you like!
  4. Brush the butter onto your sliced potatoes. Sprinkle with salt & pepper and chopped herbs while they are freshly buttered to help it all stick.
  5. Place your potatoes in the oven for over an hour or so. Feel free to brush your potatoes again with butter several times, even after they’re already out of the oven.
  6. Season again before serving.
